full-service well control company from well planning through well
drilling/completion.

is tailored to the individual needs of our customers. |
 MAIN
SERVICES
SAFEGUARD
The SafeGuard program provides its
member-companies customized services including contingency
plans, audits, critical well plan reviews, training, drills,
field evaluations, and engineering support. Dedicated and
readily available equipment and personnel based locally provide
immediate response and recovery time when a critical incident
occurs.
Specialized equipment includes fire fighting, fire suppression, environmental
monitoring, and access to all types of heavy equipment that can be rapidly
mobilized. SafeGuard specialists will possess a range of risk mitigation,
incident command, and project management skills. |
WELL
CONTROL
Since the days of Red Adair and
John Wayne's "Hellfighters" movie, much has
changed in the energy industry. Advanced training,
better designed and built equipment, and superior engineering
have decreased the number of well blowouts and fires.
At the same time, the procedures and challenges associated
with such events have become more complex. With fewer
events to learn from and downsized, younger engineering
staffs, many energy companies are contracting with
Boots & Coots Services to not only respond in the
event of a blowout, but also to work to serve customers
in preparedness and prevention. |
ENGINEERING
Given the recent industry trends of
consolidation and streamlining, operators have been forced
to operate more efficiently thereby leading to staff reductions
and loss of experienced personnel. As such, many companies
have approached Boots & Coots Services requesting integrated
well control engineering solutions. The result of which has
lead to the development of a package of engineering services
known as Engineering. |

Boots & Coots Services, the premier well control company in the world, Global

Underwriters at Lloyd's of London. The result is a unique, bundled package
that includes a full range of Boots & Coots' well control preventive
and post-event response services along with reliable well control insurance
and "Cash Flow Enhancement" coverage. |

VENEZUELA
Boots & Coots Services De Venezuela based in Anaco, Eastern
Venezuela; and Maracaibo, Western Venezuela, and stands ready
to assist any emergency response needs for Venezuela, Central,
and South America. Boots & Coots Services de Venezuela
has full firefighting capabilities including personnel, engineering
and equipment. Operation Safeguard originating in Venezuela
is operated and managed from the two offices mentioned above.
This operation was created to provide cost effective firefighting
equipment and critical personnel to producing oil companies
involved in reactivation programs in Venezuela. Operation
Safeguard has proven to shorten response time by placing
equipment and personnel in country year round, closer to
any well control problems that might arise in the region.

This unit is primarily with the Wellsure
sector of Boots & Coots
stationed in Calgary, Canada. Due to our location, our Canadian
customers benefit from experienced on-site personnel for prevention
services and quick response capabilities for any blowout or well
control situation. |
