HOUSTON (April 14, 2004) — Boots & Coots International Well Control, Inc. (Amex: WEL), a global prevention, emergency response and restoration company for the oil and gas industry, has scheduled its annual Shareholders Meeting for May 19, 2004 at 3:00 pm Central Time. The meeting will take place at:

Shareholders of record at the close of business on April 7, 2004 are eligible to vote. For voting purposes, the Company’s annual report on Form 10-K and Proxy Statement have been mailed to those eligible shareholders.
