HOUSTON, Texas April 4, 2003 — Boots & Coots International Well Control, Inc. (Amex: WEL), announced today that it will host a conference call on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 3:10 Central Time to discuss the operating results for the year ending 2002, as well as provide updates to recent activities, progress and developments. Kirk Krist, Chairman of the Board, Jerry Winchester, CEO, and Kevin Johnson, Vice President of Finance will lead the call.

The conference call will be broadcast in a listen-only mode. The Company will take shareholder questions in advance through Barry Gross, Investor Relations Counsel. Questions must be submitted to Barry Gross by email only at barry@grosscapital.com by now later than April 7, 2003. Please denote “Questions For Conference Call” in the subject heading of the email.
